How to fix a bummer dish in 20 minutes

Would you like to give your dishes wings?

Do you want to stick out from the crowd with your recipes?

Would you like to create lots of magic in little time?

Then you`re in the right place!

Don`t we all want to cook something special when we finally do have time to cook?

It`s always the same thing. Not knowing what to cook usually  turns into stress. Then we go to chefkoch.de and search for a great recipe and get hotflashes because we have never tried this recipe before. There are sooo many recipes online these days. There`s a recipe for everything. However, we can`t be sure that they will be failproof.

I would never serve a dish for a special occasion that I have never tried before.

For you, I try recipes and simplify them.

My recipes are easy to prepare and yet they have the certain something. I have refined each dish over and over and I tried to leave out superfluous stuff.

You can count on these recipes. In case you would like to change or improve things, please let me know. Your inspiration is my food.

Here is my recipe for the almost forgotten whitefish

Serves 4:

  • 4 whitefish
  • about 8 pak choi oder a bunch of chard
  • 12 small tomatoes
  • 8 small mushrooms
  • 1 red bell pepper
  • 2 lemons
  • 1 onion
  • ca 100 ml white wine
  • ca 100 ml water
  • some olive oil
  • salt and black pepper
  • soy sauce
  • rice

Preheat the oven to  200°. Wash and chop the vegetables. Sprinkle a casserole with olive oil and spread out the vegetables. Put the fish on top. Put in the water and the wine and sprinkle the fish with lemon juice and olive oil. Season with salt and pepper. Off it goes into the oven. Depending on the size of the fish, it will take about 20 to 30 minutes to cook through. You can tell if the fish is done when you can easily pull away the skin with a fork.

Meanwhile, cook the rice.

Arrange the fish and the vegetables on plates and serve with rice. Sprinkle with soy sauce. Finished!

Bon appetit!

Yours truly

Christina
